Teacher Bursaries
Bursary - ATA Local #80Bursaries applications will open May 1, 2027. Three separate scholarships to a maximum of $1000.00 each will be awarded to up to three individual members of the ATA Local #80 who have completed courses in a program at a TQS recognised institution during the 2025-2026 school year. The names will be selected by a random draw from all qualified applicants before the end of June of the application year. To receive payment the qualified applicant must sign the appropriate CRA tax form that will be shared. A member can only be drawn ONCE in their career as a member of our Local to receive this subsidy.The application deadline: we are not accepting applications at this time.The successful applicants of this scholarship will be notified by the end of June of the application year.
Student Scholarships
Applications for the ATA Local #80 student scholarships will open on May 1, 2027. Eligible students may apply for the Léo Richer Scholarship, the Local #80 Member’s Child Scholarship, or the Margaretrose Willms Scholarship, depending on the individual award criteria. These scholarships support students pursuing post-secondary education, including those entering the Faculty of Education and students with a parent who is a member of ATA Local #80.
